Where silence takes root
Where silence
takes root
This collection explores the solitude of women, those quiet moments between sleep and wakefulness, where being alone becomes a path inward.
Inspired by the decorative language of Gustav Klimt, I place figures in open spaces, allowing them to quietly turn inward.
Their gazes invite reflection, while patterns emerge across their forms as another language for thoughts and emotions that words cannot fully express.
These paintings ask for a moment of quiet, to see women standing in their solitude. They grow from my experience of witnessing women’s solitude, an experience that continues to shape my work.
